Meeting
Rooms & Business Center
Superbly situated within the Kurá Hulanda complex is the Conference
Center Kurá Hulanda (opened in 1999). The Center is comprised
of three buildings each equipped with state-of-the-art facilities
and equipment for seminars, lectures, tutorials, training, conferences
and meetings. Closed-circuit television is available to connect the
three buildings. Each building may be rented individually. In addition,
each room may be fully adapted for video projection, simultaneous
interpreter/translator system, and/or for a festive reception.

Rubens Salon and Board
Room
As a wise man once said, “one man’s garbage is another
man’s treasure.” This was just the case when Jacob Gelt
Dekker found the four paintings that grace the Rubens Salon on the
second floor of the Bellevue building. These exquisite works of art
were folded up and in disrepair when Jacob purchased them. Gloriously
restored, these epic canvases cover the walls of the Rubens Salon
which is a perfect venue for board meetings or elegant receptions
under the gaze of these gods and goddesses. An adjacent Board Room
seating 8 is resplendent for more intimate meetings. This quartet
of paintings, by Peter Paul Rubens includes Aphrodite, Rain, Thunder

Tula Room
Capacity: 160 persons
The largest of the four rooms, Tula consists of a main floor, a stage
and a balcony. Theater style seating and banquet style are possible
in this spacious and stylish conference room that has a maximum capacity
of 160 persons. This room is suitable for a variety of purposes such
as, business meetings, banquets, and video and slide presentations.
DVD quality movies may be shown and the acoustics make the Tula Room
a perfect location for piano recitals. |
