The fully equipped, air-conditioned Fitness Center offers state-of-the-art True Cybox cardio machines, upright bikes, elliptical bikes, treadmills, Stairmasters, weight machines, free weights and mats. Surrounded by oversized glass windows, guests may also enjoy a breathtaking view of the ocean and swimming pool during their workout. Aerobic and Yoga classes are also available.

Massages are offered poolside in our open air Spa Pavilion. Transportation between the Lodge Kura Hulanda and Beach Club to and from its sister property, the five-star Hotel Kura Hulanda Spa and Casino, a member of the Small Leading Hotels of the World; and Museum Kura Hulanda in Willemstad is available daily. The ride takes approximately 40 minutes through Curaçao’s scenic countryside.

Indian Caves

Deep within the cliffs, at the Lodge Kura Hulanda and Beach Club is an indigenous, pre-historic, collection of grottos, commonly referred to as the “Indian Cave,” a hidden cavern that offers guests the opportunity to explore a variety of mysterious and magnificent rock art. The first human inhabitants of Curacao, the Arawak-Taino Indians, are said to have used these caves as their first shelter and provides a glimpse into Curacao’s vanished past. In addition, the caves contain spring waters, which according to legend have healing powers and were used as a cure for many illnesses by the Indians.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS FROM AIRPORT TO THE LODGE: Depart the parking lot of the Airport and turn right. Follow this road until the roundabout. This portion of the trip takes approximately 5 minutes) Turn right at the roundabout and follow the road until you see the Jaanchies Restaurant on your left. The distance is approximately 22 miles and this portion of your trip from the roundabout to Jaanchies Restaurant takes 25 minutes) Then turn right and take your first left. Keep going on this road and bear to the left and after 200 metters you will see the Lodge Kura Hulanda and Beach Club on your left. (the portion of this trip from Jaanchies Restaurant to the Lodge is only 3 minutes). Please note that Curacao has great roads but not many road signs. Total trip takes approximately 35 minutes
